We remember. We win.
On May 8, Ukraine, together with the European community, commemorates the Day of Remembrance and Victory over Nazism in the Second World War of 1939–1945.
This day is not only about history. It is about the memory of millions of human lives, destroyed destinies, devastated cities and villages, losses that affected almost every family. The Second World War became one of the most tragic pages in the history of mankind, and the Ukrainian land was a place of fierce battles, occupation and large-scale destruction.
Today, we are increasingly aware of the true price of peace, freedom and human life. Ukraine is once again going through difficult trials, fighting for its independence and the right to a future. That is why the memory of the events of the Second World War takes on special significance - as a reminder of what aggression, hatred and contempt for human dignity lead to.
We honor all those who fought against Nazism, remember the dead, civilian victims of the war, and express our gratitude to those who defended and continue to defend Ukraine.
We remember the past for the sake of the future.
With respect, the management and staff of the State Institution "Institute of Soil Protection of Ukraine"
