Southeastern Interregional Center of the State Institution INSTITUTE OF SOIL PROTECTION OF UKRAINE

History

According to the Resolution of the Council of Ministers of the USSR in 1964, the creation of the Dnipropetrovsk Zonal Agrochemical Laboratory was entrusted to the director of the All-Union Scientific Research Institute of Corn, Academician Zadontsev A.I. The Laboratory was created on the basis of this scientific research institution.

In 1969, the laboratory was transferred to the Ministry of Agriculture of the Ukrainian SSR.

In 1972, a laboratory building was built in the village of Doslidnoe, Dnipropetrovsk district. The project was based on a veterinary laboratory project, since the typical project of agrochemical laboratories, which were built in other regions, did not meet the requirements of the regional leadership.

In 1973, the Dnipropetrovsk Zonal Agrochemical Laboratory continued its work in a new building.

A very influential factor in the competitive ability of the institution is the formed database of potential soil fertility, which covers all agricultural lands of the Dnipropetrovsk region.

In 2024, it was renamed the Southeastern Interregional Center of the state institution "Institute of Soil Protection of Ukraine".
