Gender Policy

Achieving gender equality and ensuring sustainable development of society in Ukraine remain among the key priorities. In the conditions of full-scale Russian invasion, Ukraine faces numerous challenges that cause an increase in the number of vulnerable categories among both women and men. The war significantly exacerbates the manifestations of gender inequality, which requires the introduction of new, effective mechanisms and approaches to effectively overcome these problems. Responding to these challenges, the State Institution "Institute of Soil Protection of Ukraine" has adopted and is implementing a Gender Action Plan in the institution, which aims to implement a systematic approach to ensuring gender equality in the personnel, scientific and management policies of the institution. It includes specific measures to ensure equal opportunities during hiring and promotion, support the career development of employees, prevent discrimination and create a gender-sensitive working environment.
